Alphason Designs' considerable experience in designing high performance audiophile products made the company realise there was a glaring need for quality audio furniture designed to ensure that the audio system is able to perform to its maximum potential. Alphason Designs therefore launched a new concept range of hi-fi stands and loudspeaker stands, manufactured to a standard hitherto unavailable.

Alphason Designs then developed the Akros range - products designed to meet the requirements of 'lifestyle' audio-visual systems. The design criteria of the original audiophile products were applied to this new range, through the use of the unique tension rod structure and careful choice of materials, enabling the benefits of Alphason's design disciplines to be available to a wider audience.

In line with the company policy of continuous improvement several ranges of products were introduced. The Alphason A Series is designed for the discerning audiophile to improve the performance of any equipment it supports. The Alphason AD Series has polished 'D' shaped safety glass shelving providing a practical solution for the hi-fi & TV enthusiast. also there is the Alphason Essentials range which offers complementary products to "value for money" electronics.
